Munro Products has been the leader in kitchen and bathroom refinishing products and services since 1972, offering both residential and commercial services. Munro Kitchen & Bath is a family owned business that is part of the spirit, growth and fabric of every community in the Buffalo Metropolitan Areas. Munro Products provides full bathtub refinishing services nationwide, and complete remodeling services to the WNY region.
I am the founder and President of Munro Products. When I started the company in 1972, we were a bathtub refinishing company. But since then, we’ve grown to develop our own exclusive products that are sold throughout the US and Canada. I’m very proud of the business I began, the growth we’ve had, and the products I’ve helped develop. My favorite part of my career is coming up with ideas, seeing those ideas come to fruition, and being able to improve customers’ lives along the way.
Outside of work, I’ve been an active religious leader in the Western New York community and have been heavily involved in many service projects. I am happiest spending time with my beautiful wife, Kate, and my family. I am the father of four sons (Matthew, David, John & Aaron) and grandfather to 14 grandchildren.
My background is as diverse as every day at Munro Products. Before I started with the company back in 2015, I actually received both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education and taught 2nd grade for nine years in South Jordan, Utah. Since joining the family business, I have done everything from manufacturing and refinishing, to customer care, and now, I spend most of my time handling financials and HR. Because of all my past experiences, I pay special attention to customer communication and building rapport with people.
2015 was also a big year for me, because that’s when I married my wife, Kathryn! We’re lucky to live on an old farm in East Aurora with our three beautiful girls. I’m happiest when I am surrounded by my family; usually in the kitchen!
I’ve been with Munro Products since 1997, when I started as a refinisher and repair tech. Over the past 10 years and through a variety of different roles, I’ve successfully completed and maintained our company’s e-commerce projects from beginning to end. I often work as a single point of contact for vendors and merchants, while overseeing and managing daily production service work, our workers, equipment, and schedules. The way I get it done is through loyalty, dependability, attention to detail. I love having the freedom to create and work on a variety of projects, especially alongside my family. I’m happiest when I’m having crazy adventures with my wife.
